Thannhausen (dpa / lby) - A trio failed in Swabia on Saturday night when trying to blow up an ATM. The three people had fed gas into the device in Thannhausen (Günzburg district), the police said. However, the gas exploded too early so that the perpetrators could not get the money from the machine. According to experts from the State Criminal Police Office, the perpetrators were "very likely injured". The trio fled before the police arrived. The Kripo Memmingen has taken over the investigation in the case.
