Fürth (dpa / lby) - SpVgg Greuther Fürth has committed defender Luca Itter after his loan from SC Freiburg. As the relegated from the Bundesliga announced on Friday, the 23-year-old will get a three-year contract. The Middle Franconia loaned Itter from Freiburg in the winter of 2021 and extended the loan for another year in the summer of 2021 after the joint promotion.
"It was clear to me that I definitely wanted to stay in Fürth and that we would continue on our common path. I feel really good at Kleeblatt, so I'm very happy that I was able to stay here," said Itter , who made 24 Bundesliga appearances for Fürth.
Rachid Azzouzi, the former business manager, also expressed his satisfaction. "He has developed enormously with us in the last year and a half. Now he can take his next steps here and also take on more responsibility in the team. He identifies with us a lot and shares the values of the game association, "said Azzouzi.
