Bergerac: 200 people mobilized for the "forgotten persons of Segur"

Around 200 people marched in Bergerac (Dordogne) on Tuesday, May 31 at the request of the CGT. Their message was that there were still "forgotten people" from Segur.

Recall that the 2020 Segur de la sante agreements resulted in wage increases in health. Social and medico-social workers, however, were not included. These "forgotten Segurs" made their dissatisfaction known in 2021, and received a bonus of 183 euro net per month.

Other workers are still excluded from the new version. Technical staff (cooks and drivers, maintenance and upkeep agents, and maintenance and upkeep agents), and administrative staff (accountants and secretaries, receptionist staff, etc.) are excluded from the latest version. These include social and medicosocial reception structures as well as family assistants and early childhood workers.

Demonstrators demand wage increases. They denounce the breaking collective agreements and the degradation of their working conditions. Magali, Udaf 24's judicial representative and CGT delegate, said that it was urgent to provide a framework that gives meaning.
