Gliem's wife Elke is the grand cousin of Bruce Willis' German mother Marlene. The star of many action films, who suffers from dementia, was born in 1955 in Idar-Oberstein, Rhineland-Palatinate.

Marlene Willis told him and his wife a year ago that her son had dementia, Gliem now describes in the "Bild" interview. "Bruce's mother keeps us up to date, we call once a month," explains the musician. And further: "She says she is not sure if her son still recognizes her."

Bruce Willis is now "very much slowed down in his behavior," his mother reported. Willis also “always has a slight aggressiveness”. A normal conversation is no longer possible. However, this is normal for the clinical picture.

Gliem says he feels particularly sorry for Willis's children and wife, who would suffer as relatives: "Scout and Tallulah are two very strong girls who are now there for their dad, just as he used to be there for them." Gliem does not mention the other daughters.

Bruce Willis has five children: Rumer, Scout and Tallulah from his marriage to fellow actor Demi Moore, who divorced in 2000. He had two more daughters, Evelyn and Mabel, with his current wife, former British model Emma Heming-Willis.
