Hamburg: Excursion with the steamer ends on the dam

A pleasure boat ran aground on the Elbe in Hamburg - 43 people on board were evacuated for safety reasons. On Tuesday evening, the ship ran into a dam due to low water at river kilometer 606, as the fire brigade announced on Wednesday. The steamer floated again due to the rising water and was brought to the quay wall by the fire brigade. The operation lasted until Wednesday morning. Damage to the ship was initially not recognizable, neither liquids escaped nor water got into the ship. A more detailed examination of possible damage was still ongoing. There were no injuries.
