The cattle that were in the barn were rescued on Wednesday night, according to the police in Kassel. It was prevented that the full fire spread to a neighboring building, it said. The police estimate the property damage at around 300,000 euros. The cause of the fire was initially unclear and is now to be determined by the criminal police.
