Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - Because of an attack on rescue workers, a 73-year-old man is on trial in Frankfurt for the second time on Monday (12.30 p.m.). He is accused of obstructing and abusing rescue workers. The regional court is hearing about his appeal against a sentence of eight months suspended sentence from January 2019.
At the time, the district court found that the man had not cleared the scene of the accident in October 2017 after a passer-by fell on an escalator at the exit to the S-Bahn station at Frankfurt Central Station, but instead attacked the paramedics. Two paramedics then had to seek medical treatment. The court scheduled only one hearing day for the appeals process.
