Hesse: Abandoned game and police action in an amateur football game

Dietzenbach (dpa/lhe) - After a football game in Dietzenbach in the Offenbach district, the police are investigating three men for dangerous bodily harm. First, a 27-year-old is said to have hit the referee after he showed him the red card. The game was then canceled late Sunday afternoon, the police said on Monday. Then the 27-year-old, together with two other men, is said to have watched his opponent and his companion and also hit them. When the police arrived, the alleged main perpetrator had already fled. Officers briefly arrested his two suspected accomplices, aged 22 and 23.
