Hesse: cyclist is hit by the car and dies

Bischofsheim (dpa/lhe) - A cyclist died after an accident in the Groß-Gerau district. When crossing a street in the municipality of Bischofsheim, the 60-year-old was hit by a car on Tuesday afternoon for reasons that have not yet been clarified, the police said. The seriously injured man was taken to a hospital with a rescue helicopter. Early Wednesday morning, the police announced that the 60-year-old did not survive the accident.
