Darmstadt (dpa/lhe) - Despite the last three draws, SV Darmstadt 98 is very optimistic about the second division football game on Saturday (1 p.m. / Sky) against 1. FC Nuremberg. "We've been a team for a long time that's very difficult to beat. That's a good feeling," said coach Torsten Lieberknecht after seven league games without defeat.
The last win came on the fourth matchday against Hansa Rostock (4:0). Darmstadt conceded the only defeat so far at Jahn Regensburg (0:2) on the first matchday. "Last week Lautern, now Nuremberg: It's a privilege to play against such teams again and again," said Lieberknecht on Thursday with a view to the next opponent of the fourth-placed team.
