Hesse: High property damage caused by fire in the living room

Bad Schwalbach (dpa/lhe) - Damage of around 150,000 euros was caused by a fire in the living room of a house in Oestrich-Winkel (Rheingau-Taunus district) on Christmas Day. The cause of the fire on the ground floor is still unclear, the police said on Sunday evening. There was a lot of smoke in the single family home. According to the information, the residents were not at home and the fire was reported by neighbors. The Wiesbaden criminal police have started the investigation.
