Hesse: Homeless man seriously injured in hut fire

Taunusstein (dpa/lhe) - A man was seriously injured in a fire in a wooden hut in Taunusstein (Rheingau-Taunus district). The fire probably started from a gas cooker with which he prepared something to eat on Wednesday night, according to a police spokesman in Wiesbaden on Wednesday. The homeless man suffered second-degree burns and was reportedly flown to a special clinic. According to police, he may have fallen asleep while cooking.
