Hesse: Left: Kula and Schalauske should be top candidates

Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - The Hessian left wants to lead the state election campaign with the two parliamentary group leaders, Elisabeth Kula and Jan Schalauske. The state executive unanimously asked the duo to make themselves available as top candidates at a party conference on April 22 in Flörsheim am Main, state chairmen Christiane Böhm and Jakob Migenda announced on Monday. "Both are the faces of the socio-ecological opposition in the Hessian state parliament. They are a good team that works together in a spirit of trust and complements each other perfectly."
