Hesse: Lost parts cause an accident

Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) - Lost parts of a load caused an accident involving several vehicles on a motorway near Frankfurt. Two people were injured and taken to the hospital. According to the police on Friday, two cars initially drove over the parts lying on the road. One was thrown up. It hit a motorcyclist who fell with his machine and got injured behind the crash barrier to safety. Two following cars crashed into the two-wheeler lying on the ground. One of the cars then overturned and collided with another car. The police estimated the property damage at around 36,000 euros. The accident happened late Thursday evening on the A5 in the direction of Kassel.
