Hesse: Police stop autoraser in the city center

Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) - The police stopped two car speeders in downtown Frankfurt on Thursday night. The police said there was a suspicion that the men, aged 19 and 20, could have engaged in an illegal street race. In some cases, they drove more than 100 kilometers per hour, overtook and braked each other despite oncoming traffic. A civil patrol had noticed the cars and stopped them, the drivers had to hand in their driver's licenses.
