Hesse: taxes evaded in the millions? men in court

Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) - As of today, two managing directors of a sports betting operator have to answer to the Frankfurt Regional Court for allegations of tax evasion. The two 36 and 42-year-old merchants are said to have not declared extensive income to the tax office between September 2016 and January 2020 as required. According to the calculations of the public prosecutor's office, the damage is around 2.16 million euros. There are a total of 32 individual cases. The Economic Criminal Court initially scheduled three days of hearings until mid-October.
