The approximately 20,000 residents must have cleared this area by 9 a.m.

A nursing home, a section of the 648 motorway and the control room of the energy supplier Mainova are also located in the restricted area. According to the plans, the motorway will be closed in the direction of the city from Westkreuz. Local public transport will also be stopped in the affected area for the duration of the measures. The fire brigade provided an interactive online map for the evacuation area. A support center has been set up in the Frankfurt ball sports hall for residents who need somewhere to stay.
