Hesse: WWII bomb defused in Frankfurt Osthafen

Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - The explosive ordnance clearance service has defused a 50-kilogram World War II bomb in Frankfurt's Osthafen. For this, the area around the site had to be evacuated within a radius of 250 meters on Monday, as reported by the fire brigade in Frankfurt. In addition, a lock on the Main was temporarily closed. An industrial area was mainly affected by the evacuation.
