An inquest heard that a woman was repeatedly stabbed in her chest by her boyfriend, who later took his own life.
Maddie Durdant–Hollamby was 22 years old when Benjamin Green, 41 killed him at his Northamptonshire residence last August.
According to the inquest, she went to Slate Drive, Kettering to end their relationship.
The Northamptonshire coroner stated that Mr Green had fatally stabbed Ms Durdant–Hollamby.
Police found the body of Ms Durdant–Hollamby from Wimblington near March in Cambridgeshire after her family and friends reported her missing.
The body of Mr Green was found in the kitchen, with a fatally self-inflicted knife wound.
Anne Pember, senior coroner, pronounced Ms Durdant–Hollamby's murder an unlawful killing.
The suicide of Mr Green was reported.
Abbie Green, a friend to Ms Durdant–Hollamby, said that Mr Green was a "jealous individual" who used to regularly check Maddie’s texts on her phone.
She claimed that the couple fell out over a Love Island episode after Ms Durdant Hollamby said she liked one of the contestants.
Ms Green stated that they had also been arguing about her decision to take a family vacation to Jamaica with her parents and leave him behind.
Ms Durdant–Hollamby sent Ms Green a text on the day of her passing to inform her that she was on her way with her boyfriend and to "text or ring" her in an hour.
After failing to reach Ms Durdant–Hollamby, the friends reached out to her mother and she alerted police.
Anne Pember, senior coroner, read the statement of Rachel Durdant-Hollamby from her mother.
She stated in it that she did not need to talk with Maddie about "any concerns" regarding her relationship with Mr Green.
Mrs Durdant-Hollamby, a mother who called her daughter "caring" as well as "perfect", previously stated that there had been no domestic violence in her daughter’s relationship with Mr Green.
Mrs Durdant Hollamby stated in her inquest statement that there was a "huge hole" in her life.
"I miss her so much, everything about her.
"We were each others best friend, and I miss her so much."
