Legislative 2022. Jean-Michel Blanquer sprinkled on whipped cream: The two professors will face off in September

After the failed plead-guilty procedure, the Montargis public prosecutor announced Monday that the two professors who whipped Jean-Michel Blanquer's face with whipped cream in the legislative campaign would appear in corrections on Sept. 5. Loic Abrial reported that neither the teacher nor their lawyer turned up Monday morning to be summoned by Montargis for an appearance procedure on prior acknowledgment of guilt (CRPC).

Me Benoit David, the council of teachers, confided that he only received the file Friday July 1 from his clients, after it was deemed late by the Montargis court. It's quite surprising. (...) I requested dismissal within the deadlines. This was due to the late transmission of my file. The prosecution wanted a trial. It is a political will," said the Parisian lawyer to AFP. Loic Abrial, the prosecutor, argues that dismissal requests cannot be accepted unless someone is present at the summons to the CRPC.

The two Montargis teachers, 51 and 57 years old, sprinkled cream on the former Minister for National Education who was then campaigning on a marketplace. They wanted to decry a National Education in "freefall". Jean-Michel Blanquer had already filed a complaint.

Two fifties will appear before Montargis' criminal court on September 5, at 1:30 pm. They are charged with "violence in an incident that did not result to total incapacity of work", a crime for which the sentence is three years imprisonment and a 75,000 euro fine.
