Bad Doberan (dpa / mv) - A woman from the Bad Doberan region (Rostock district) lost around 20,000 euros to bank fraudsters. As the police announced on Tuesday in Güstrow, the 40-year-old received an email a few days ago that allegedly came from her house bank. In it she was asked to update her bank-internal applications. The woman activated the corresponding link. After that, there were several debits from her account, which even her real house bank could no longer reverse when the injured party noticed. The police regularly warn of this and similar scams on the Internet.
