Boizenburg (dpa/mv) - Due to the onset of rain, the police in the Boizenburg region are warning of mirror-smooth roads. "Currently, vehicles can only move at walking speed in some areas," said the Ludwigslust police inspection on Monday. The rain is currently moving west towards the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim.
According to the information, drivers should drive carefully or, if possible, avoid it altogether. Extreme slippery roads are to be expected. The German Weather Service (DWD) had previously issued a black ice warning for all of northern Germany because of the storm "Franziska".
