Stralsund (dpa / mv) - In Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, another cyclist died after an accident in August. As a police spokesman in Stralsund said, it is a 60-year-old man who had an accident in Stralsund on August 24th. The man crashed his bike into a street lamp for an unknown reason and suffered life-threatening injuries.
As the police spokesman said, the 60-year-old succumbed to his serious injuries in a clinic on Wednesday. Witnesses and rescue workers found the seriously injured man at the time and were able to revive him and take him to a clinic. According to the police, the cyclist was not wearing a helmet during the accident.
It was the third fatal cyclist accident in August in eastern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
