Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The FDP parliamentary group in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has opposed the proposal by FDP Federal Vice Wolfgang Kubicki to commission the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. "Just turn it up and everything would be like before. I think that's naïve to negligent," said FDP parliamentary group leader René Domke on Friday in Schwerin. There is no shortage of pipelines, the shortage arises because the gas is deliberately throttled.
However, Domke is of the opinion that an extension of the use of nuclear power can contribute to a relaxation in the area of energy supply. The same applies to faster approvals for liquid gas terminals and hydrogen projects.
