Neubrandenburg (dpa/mv) - After the theft of several GPS on-board computers and GPS antennas from tractors and combine harvesters, the Stralsund public prosecutor's office has brought charges against a 47-year-old. In July 2020, the man is said to have violently entered two company premises in Groß Luckow and Strasburg near Pasewalk and stolen the GPS antennas and GPS on-board computers from a total of five agricultural vehicles. The public prosecutor's office in Stralsund and the police headquarters in Neubrandenburg announced on Wednesday that he had stolen a pick-up truck parked on the company premises. The damage amounts to more than 60,000 euros. The man is said to be in custody. If convicted, he faces a long prison sentence.
