Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Ostseemesse is back with 43,000 visitors

Rostock (dpa/mv) - With 43,280 visitors, the Baltic Sea Fair in Rostock has reported back after a two-year Corona break. With the large number of visitors and consistently positive reactions, all expectations were exceeded, said Andreas Markgraf, Division Manager at HanseMesse, on Sunday at the end of the last day. "The wide range of offers, starting with the exhibitors through to the supporting program, once again ensured thousands of satisfied visitors." The Ostseemesse thus remains an important platform for the exchange and presentation of companies from various sectors.

Since Wednesday, around 200 regional, national and international exhibitors have presented themselves on an area of 10,000 square meters and offered products from all areas of life. A 1000 square meter flower show was spring-like. The supporting program included a cooking and entertainment show as well as live music.

At the beginning of the fair, State Secretary for Economic Affairs Jochen Schulte (SPD) had already spoken of the largest consumer show in the north. According to the ministry, 40,000 visitors came to the Ostseemesse in 2020 shortly before the first corona lockdown.
