Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: threat: special operation and search for perpetrators in Stralsund

Stralsund (dpa / mv) - The police in Stralsund are looking for a man who is said to have triggered a special operation by special forces on Sunday. The 32-year-old is said to have threatened another man in a workshop in the Andershof district with weapons, a police spokeswoman said on Monday. The partner of the 31-year-old victim alerted the police.

When the special forces arrived, the allegedly threatened man was present, but the person they were looking for had disappeared. The use was larger than usual because the 32-year-old was said to have been drugged and had several weapons. One motive could have been a dispute over access authorization to the hall complex.

Drugs and weapons were seized during searches. The investigation then revealed that the Stralsunder was already being sought on the basis of an arrest warrant. He did not pay a fine and should serve a substitute prison sentence.
