Stralsund (dpa / mv) - At the district court of Stralsund, a doctor is to answer today for incorrect vaccination and mask exemptions, also in connection with the corona pandemic. The public prosecutor accuses the 75-year-old of "issuing incorrect health certificates" in 32 cases. He is said to have issued certificates to patients so that they did not need corona vaccinations or their children did not need measles vaccinations. The man from the Vorpommern-Rügen district had therefore already had his medical license withdrawn in 2022.
As a family doctor, the man is said to have issued certificates to patients from other federal states without having seen them. The prosecution also wants to ensure that the doctor is subsequently banned from practicing his profession before the district court. Because of a similar case, the public prosecutor's office is also investigating a doctor in the Mecklenburg Lake District.
