Karlshagen/Zinnowitz (dpa/mv) - Thieves stole two vans on the Baltic Sea island of Usedom within a few hours. The two thefts occurred on Friday night in Karlshagen and a few hours earlier in Zinnowitz (West Pomerania-Greifswald), as a police spokesman said on Friday.
In the minibus in Karlshagen there were still two e-bikes and fishing equipment. The van that was stolen in Zinnowitz was loaded with high quality tools. The total damage is estimated at around 75,000 euros. Traditionally, many vacationers stay on the island of Usedom on the Ascension Day weekend.
