Greifswald (dpa/mv) - In Vorpommern-Greifswald, employees of the district administration and the job center have once again collected gifts for the food banks. Whether Santa Clauses made of chocolate, books, toys or children's clothing - gift tables have been set up in the administration buildings in Greifswald, Pasewalk and Anklam, the district announced on Monday. District Administrator Michael Sack (CDU) thanked the employees and also asked citizens for donations for the panels.
According to the information, the Christmas campaign in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district has been in existence for 15 years. "Every year we set up a colorful gift table in Anklam, and every child who comes to us can then choose a gift," Olaf Riedel was quoted as saying by the Anklamer Tafel.
