North Rhine-Westphalia: Bound 13-year-olds: No indication of violent crimes

Ostbevern/Münster (dpa/lnw) - About six weeks after the discovery of an unconscious 13-year-old girl with her hands tied in Ostbevern in Münsterland, the investigation is still ongoing. According to information from the police in Münster, however, there is currently no evidence of a violent crime. "Meanwhile, toxicological tests are still being carried out at the forensic medicine department in Münster," said a police spokeswoman on Wednesday. When a result can be expected is still open. So far, the girl herself has not commented on the possible crime.

Witnesses discovered a bike and a backpack on a path in mid-November and then found the unconscious girl in the forest. Paramedics took her to the hospital, from which she was released a short time later.
