On Friday it will be mostly clear and dry after the morning fog fields have cleared up, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Essen in the morning. The temperatures will therefore reach 14 to 17 degrees. During the night of Saturday, rain is expected to come up from the north-west. The wind is also freshening up, and gusts of wind with speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour are sometimes possible in the higher parts of the Eifel. In the early morning, the rain should also reach the east of the country.

According to the DWD forecast, Saturday begins with dense clouds, rain and sometimes strong winds. In the course of the morning the sky loosens up a bit and the rain turns to showers. Thunderstorms are also possible. In the case of precipitation, stormy gusts are expected in some cases, while the rain and wind are expected to ease further in the afternoon. The maximum values ​​on Saturday are between 13 and 17 degrees. Local showers are still possible on Sunday night.

In the southern half of the country in particular, it should still be rainy on Sunday morning. For the north, the DWD predicts mostly cloudy and dry weather. In the afternoon the sky will also clear up in the south. Maximum temperatures of up to 17 degrees are expected.
