Essen (dpa / lnw) - In North Rhine-Westphalia the weather will be cloudy and wet in the coming days, but the sun will also appear at the weekend. Wednesday starts with showers and lots of clouds, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Essen. Even brief thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. The maximum values are between 10 and 14 degrees. The night stays mostly dry with temperatures of 6 to 3 degrees. Fog may form in places.
It will mostly remain dry on Thursday, albeit very cloudy again. In the course of the day it loosens up and showers are only occasionally possible. The temperatures rise to 12 to 15 degrees. The night will be partly clear and partly cloudy. It cools down to 6 to 2 degrees.
On Friday the sun will appear at times alongside clouds. The temperatures rise to 14 to 17 degrees.
