Duisburg (dpa / lnw) - A dispute among neighbors about waste disposal has escalated in Duisburg. Five people from two residential units attacked each other with broomsticks on Monday, threw a paving stone and a chair and hit each other, the police said on Tuesday. According to the current state of knowledge, the background was that one of the neighbors probably put their garbage in front of the house more often.
The five, including four women between the ages of 23 and 47 and a 53-year-old man, suffered no other injuries apart from scratches and scrapes, sources said. The police wrote a report of dangerous bodily harm and are investigating the dispute.
