North Rhine-Westphalia: forest workers seriously injured in the neck by a chainsaw

Plettenberg (dpa / lnw) - A forest worker was seriously injured in the neck by a chainsaw in Plettenberg in the Märkisch district. Due to the severity of the injury, the worker had to be taken to an accident clinic with a rescue helicopter, as the Plettenberg fire brigade announced after the operation on Saturday afternoon. Luckily for the injured person, two volunteer firefighters living nearby noticed the accident and immediately provided first aid.
