Hamm (dpa / lnw) - For wearing a warning and protective jacket that looks confusingly similar to the uniform of the North Rhine-Westphalian police, a 43-year-old has to pay a fine according to a court order. The lettering "Pozilei" also caused a risk of confusion. The Paderborn district court had sentenced the man to a fine of 1,650 euros (30 daily rates of 55 euros each). The Higher Regional Court in Hamm has now rejected an appeal by the accused. The judgment of the lower court of August 16, 2021 is thus final (file no.: 4 RVs 62/22, decision of June 9, 2022).
