North Rhine-Westphalia: motorcyclist wants to turn and is seriously injured

Wuppertal (dpa / lnw) - A motorcyclist was seriously injured during a turning maneuver in Wuppertal. The 52-year-old wanted to turn his motorcycle in a housing estate on Sunday evening and lost control, a police spokesman said. The man collided with a parked car and was thrown from his machine onto the vehicle's windshield and then onto the road. The man was heavily intoxicated. He was taken to the hospital.
