Now, however, the 35-year-old is becoming an eye-catcher for a completely different reason. Hummels has gotten a completely new look. Many of her roughly 700,000 followers on Instagram may have trouble even recognizing her.
Hummels had announced the upcoming change in various posts for days. "Change is coming - Becoming myself again" (roughly: "Change is coming - I'll be myself again"), she wrote about five days ago for a picture of herself in which she was still wearing her well-known hairstyle with long blond hair .
"When you change on the inside, it often goes hand in hand with the outside," she noted in a post on Sunday - still with long blond hair. At the same time, she already hinted at what her fans should be prepared for. "I love pink," she explained. And: "New Hair".
Now there is finally the result of the transformation to admire. So Hummels first published a clip in which she can apparently be seen dyeing her hair. She puts rose-colored glasses on her nose before she shines in a completely new look after a re-cut. Not only her hair now changes in a shade between pink and pink, but also her lips. In addition, her face has a piercing between her two nostrils.
"You know that I like to wear pink glasses to dive into my own world from time to time. My life is just pink in every respect," Hummels writes in the comment column and asks her fans: "Do you like me?" She also notes, "It was okay to get the piercing done. The pain goes away."
Hummels then also published four photos showing her in her new look. "I love role-playing games. Please call me Kitty Cat today," is her comment this time.
Whether Hummels has really changed so radically or in the end it's just a wig and a fake piercing, we'll surely find out soon. In any case, her followers doubt that the influencer is actually serious about the new look in the style of singers Kesha, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. And otherwise the reactions are mixed.
