On Saturday, June 11, a search began in La Giettaz for a 68 year-old hiker. On Saturday morning, the man hiked alone in Torraz and has not been seen or heard from since. His family is currently on vacation in Haute-Savoie.
CRS, firefighters, and gendarmes have been mobilized. If you wish to participate in the search, please approach the first-aid worker at the cash desks located at the foot of La Giettaz's slopes.
