This Friday, July 8, the rescuers of the Republican Security Company (CRS) Alpes from the Modane base, accompanied by a Smur doctor from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, intervened three times in the Maurienne valley. The territorial gendarmerie brigade Val-Cenis asked them to join the search for the missing hiker along a trail in Lanslebourg. They did nothing.
A hiker in her sixties, who broke her ankle while hiking in Bessans, was rescued by the team. She was dropped off at the Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne hospital, with the helicopter of the Modane gendarmerie air detachment.
They rescued another hiker, she was in her twenties, injured in her knee after a fall on a path in Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves.
She was admitted to the same hospital that the first.
