Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - A 42-year-old was fatally injured in an argument at an open-air music festival in Magdeburg. Early on Saturday morning there was an argument and then a physical altercation between the two, the police said in Magdeburg on Monday. The suspect is said to have gone from the direction of the stage onto the dance floor to the 42-year-old and hit him in the head so much that he fell over and lay down. Then he disappeared. The dejected was taken to a hospital. Due to the severity of the injuries, an attempted manslaughter investigation is ongoing.
The police are looking for the suspect. He is said to be about 1.80 meters tall, between 35 and 45 years old and have shaved hair. On the day of the crime, he was wearing pants and a short khaki T-shirt.
