Halle (dpa/sa) - The Federal Government Commissioner for East Germany, Carsten Schneider (SPD), is visiting Halle for a public dialogue this Tuesday. The event is the start of a series entitled "What moves...?", as a spokesman for the commissioner said. Schneider wants to talk to different target groups and multipliers "to talk about the current challenges and opportunities for East Germany".
Most of the events will take place in eastern Germany, but events in western Germany are also planned. "In this way, the Eastern Commissioner wants to revive and deepen the dialogue between East and West in many ways," said the spokesman. There should be dates in all eastern German federal states, both cities and rural areas would be taken into account.
