Halle (dpa/sa) - Inflation does not stop at a sundae. This year, an ice cream sundae in Saxony-Anhalt cost around 6.25 euros, according to figures from the State Statistical Office in Halle. Two years earlier, the average price was 5.74 euros, almost 50 cents lower. In 2015, the sundae cost an average of 5.70 euros.
The price of a kilo of ice cream has also increased. So far, consumers have paid an average of 5.65 euros for this amount in the supermarket in 2022. In 2015 it was 4.46 euros.
