Neuss (dpa/sa) - In Saxony-Anhalt, slightly more companies filed for bankruptcy in the first half of the year than the national average. This emerges from an analysis by the credit agency Creditreform, which was presented on Tuesday. According to this, an average of 51 companies out of 10,000 between Arendsee and Zeitz went to the insolvency court. The value for Germany was 48 companies. Bavaria has the lowest value of all federal states with 36 insolvencies per 10,000 companies. The highest rates are in Berlin at 79 and Bremen at 77. According to Creditreform, 7,300 insolvency applications were registered nationwide by companies in the first half of the year, after 7,510 in the same period last year.
