Saxony-Anhalt: Police are investigating suspected juvenile robbery offenders

Halle (dpa/sa) - The police in Halle have put two young suspected robbers behind bars. The judge responsible had issued arrest warrants against the 16 and 20-year-old men, both of whom had been taken to a juvenile institution, the police said in Halle on Monday. The 20-year-old suspect is said to have stolen a mobile phone from a 12-year-old on New Year's Day and physically attacked him. The 16-year-old is said to have robbed a 17-year-old of valuables from a group on the evening of January 14 and threatened him with a knife. In Halle, the police have set up their own investigative team to deal with juvenile delinquency.
