Magdeburg (dpa/sa) - Police officers have searched numerous apartments in Magdeburg on suspicion of the production, possession and distribution of child pornography. A total of 21 apartments were checked across the city at the same time on Monday, according to the Magdeburg police on Wednesday. These are unrelated procedures.
Investigators confiscated around 500 digital data carriers from the suspects between the ages of 17 and 54. The investigation is ongoing. In the course of the searches, the police also initiated two criminal proceedings for violating the Narcotics and Explosives Act.
