Saxony-Anhalt: Two dead in a traffic accident in the Burgenland district

Gleina (dpa/sa) - Two people died when two vehicles collided in the Burgenland district. A 17-year-old passenger was flown to a hospital in Halle with serious injuries. A Multivan and a van collided on Monday afternoon on the L163 between Gleina and Baumersrode for reasons that are still unclear, as a police spokeswoman in Halle said. A 42-year-old driver and a 53-year-old driver suffered fatal injuries. The highway remained closed for several hours.
