Saxony-Anhalt: Uwe Runge remains President of the Saxony-Anhalt Crafts Day

Magdeburg/Halle (dpa/sa) - The Saxony-Anhalt Craft Day will continue to be led by Uwe Runge. The master painter and varnisher from Magdeburg was confirmed in his office as president in Köthen (Anhalt-Bitterfeld district) on Wednesday, as the Magdeburg and Halle chambers of crafts announced on Thursday. The Presidents of the Halle and Magdeburg Chambers of Crafts, Thomas Keindorf and Hagen Mauer, were elected Vice-Presidents. The President of the General Association of Crafts and Trades, Hans-Jörg Schuster, also takes on a deputy position. The term of office is three years. The Saxony-Anhalt Trades Day is the political mouthpiece of the 25,000 trades companies and their associations, guilds and chambers.
