Saxony: B95 near Zwenkau completely closed - due to A72 construction work

Leipzig (dpa / sn) - The federal highway 95 near Zwenkau (Leipzig district) will be closed for three days from Friday morning (9:00 a.m.). For the construction of the last section of the Autobahn 72 between Chemnitz and Leipzig, a bridge is to be lifted into its final position near Böhlen at the weekend, as a spokesman for Autobahn GmbH announced. To do this, the 1,650-ton structure had to be rotated using a heavy-duty crane. The closure is expected to be lifted early Monday morning. Until then, traffic will be diverted, the spokesman said.
