Dresden (dpa/sn) - The bishop of the diocese of Dresden-Meißen, Heinrich Timmerevers, wished people strength to overcome the crisis in his Christmas message. "War, energy crisis and climate change - after the Corona years, we are celebrating Christmas again in the midst of crisis situations. In these dark days, I experience a great longing among people that, despite all the crises, Christmas will simply be 'beautiful'," explained the bishop on Saturday. He hopes that many people will be touched by this festival and be amazed at it. "Those who are amazed discover a broader horizon beyond current crises. Those who are amazed draw strength to overcome crises."
